1 / 4   Maniac Agenda - Russian Existential Threat - Nuclear War

  • If It Feels Like You Are Being Manipulated... (12-Apr-2022)
  • "We are watching a maniac agenda playing out. And it seems to have the support not only of corrupt political elites but also - bafflingly - from a super-majority of regular fellow citizens, somehow turned into self-righteous asses by infantile news propaganda. Hysterical sanctions, severed trade links, illegally broken contracts, unprecedented breach of trust e.g. stealing Russia's forex savings, increasingly aggressive NATO expansion, universal vilification and exclusion of everything Russian, a willing submission by "Western" scientists, academics, business leaders, industry, corporations to the depraved worldview of America's most sociopathic war hawks, the overnight transformation of entire populations into Russophobic zealots; and a relentless stream of weapons and covert military operators from unaccountable foreign powers into Ukraine. The conflict is being recklessly turned into an existential threat for Russia. This will inevitably lead to serious escalation beyond the borders of Ukraine. The coda of our present trajectory is nuclear holocaust."

    2 / 4   Neocons Directing Organised Fear-Panic Insanity

World-domination advocates who’d been laughed out of meetings for years were taken seriously overnight. Rigid with jingoistic fervour, they were suddenly in print and on air everywhere, bursting with "plans for everyone" as Iggy Pop put it. Such people always rush to the front of the debate in these moments and they’re always listened to, until about ten years later, when it quietly becomes okay to reflect on a question we probably should have pondered in the moment, i.e. "Hey, are these people crazy?"

    3 / 4   Reckless Imperialism - Millions Protest - And Then?

US government pursues its reckless 'empire' goals and media-deepstate manufactures consent with bullshit about freedom while tech platforms play hypocrites and censor dissent. Etc. As it has been, so it continues to be. Marginalized journalists like Caitlin hammer away, pointing out the hypocrisy, exposing the lies, but... The protests over George Floyd brought MILLIONS out onto the streets. Demand for reform was made across America (and much of the neoliberal world). Then... The police got a little tougher, and everyone went home. Sleepy Joe Biden, the most egregious tough on crime lock-em-up candidate, gets elected. Year plus later, almost zero policy change over police brutality and militarized law enforcement funding across the country increased at record levels 2020/2021.

The whole kleptocracy scam is as plain as a Bulgarian pin-up. Quality of life for 99% is deteriorating year on year. Yet if anything there's less pushback from the public. Nobody's on the streets. Nobody's occupying anything. Nobody seems to remember what's happened long enough for it to impact their voting. X for Biden, X for Trump. Or across the Atlantic, X for Boris Johnson, X for Keir Starmer. It's the same duopoly fakeout. What's going to change this dynamic? (In part, the problem is public disconnection [manufactured] and public figure disassociation [freely chosen]. It's risky for the latter to make braver choices.)

    4 / 4   TWO GARS ONE CARP

Two young gar fish are swimming along and they happen to meet an older carp swimming the other way, who nods at them and says “Morning, boys. How’s the water?” And the two young fish swim on for a bit, and then eventually one gar looks over at the other and goes “What the hell is water?”

""The point of the fish story is merely that the most obvious, important realities are often the ones that are hardest to see and talk about. Stated as an English sentence, of course, this is just a banal platitude, but the fact is that in the day to day trenches of adult existence, banal platitudes can have a life or death importance." - DAVID FOSTER WALLACE
